Master
Tony Chen was trained
in China in the most effective styles of fighting. He served as
the martial art trainer in the Chinese police academy. The O-Mei
style of fighting contains the most effective fighting techniques
in China. (Likened to the ninjas of Japan.)
The O-Mei
kung fu academy combines the most effective styles of fighting into our kickboxing
program. We utilize the power, speed and strength of Chinese San So and grappling.
Chinese San So contains the most effective kickboxing and take down techniques.
Including the shadowless hands and feet. Our basic program contains many
powerful kicks. In stage one the student learns the roundhouse kick, sidekick,
axe kick, spinning back hook kick and most devastating, the shadowless kick.
In stage two the students are introduced to the straight jab, the
hook punch, the upper cut, the spinning back fist and the shadowless
hand.
Once these techniques are mastered the students go into stage
three, the take down. Unlike in most kickboxing programs, we teach
self defense when there are no gloves. This is most advantages to
the students overall knowledge. This aspect covers protection
of yourself and others in real life-fighting situations. Utilizing
the Chinese military standard for police and government agents,
the student receives an overall self-defense system.
